FERNWOOD INSTAGRAM AUTO REPLY KIT

Use with https://quickchat.ai/post/instagram-ai-chatbot-answer-dms

This is a fictional tutorial business. Replace fernwood.example with your own address before using the setup with customers. These are editable reference files, not a one-click import.

1. Add fernwood-catalogue.txt as a Knowledge Base article. Wait for Ready.
2. Paste main-prompt.txt into Identity > Main Prompt.
3. In Testing, create a dataset and paste test-messages.txt. Keep the standalone --- separators.
4. Expand Evaluation criteria and save evaluation-criteria.txt. Run the six cases and inspect every full reply.
5. Before connecting a real business, choose a paid plan starting with Starter. Free supports personal learning and non-commercial experiments only. Check https://quickchat.ai/pricing for current allowances.
6. Complete launch-checklist.csv from a second Instagram account after connecting your Professional account.
7. For the photo Story check, check that story-kenya-test.png visibly names KENYA NYERI AA, then post it as a new Story to a dedicated test account or a Close Friends audience containing only your testers. Reply with: Is this one in stock? The product name appears only in the image, so the answer should identify Kenya Nyeri AA and use the catalogue for its sold-out status. Check that the image also appears in Inbox. Use a new conversation with no earlier coffee identification for a clean test.

TUNING
fernwood-catalogue-baseline.txt deliberately omits oat milk. Compare the same oat-milk question before and after adding that single fact. The actual baseline and final replies are in observed-results.json.
tuning/main-prompt-before-checkout-rule.txt is the earlier verified prompt. The first valid price reply described an online checkout option not present in the Knowledge Base. The final prompt forbids invented website controls. A later text-only Story test suggested a coffee name without evidence; the final prompt requires a neutral clarification until the product is identified.

EVIDENCE BOUNDARY
observed-results.json preserves the original 31 October 2026 local replies, the failed 3 November Story clarification, and the final 3 November six-case run. All six final text checks received 5/5 and were reviewed against the catalogue. A previous stock-answer score penalized a valid Colombia alternative; the current evaluator includes all in-stock alternatives. These small test sets do not guarantee behavior on other questions.
The three photo Story cases ran locally through a real HTTP image download, attachment storage and model response. A development-only adapter supplied the identical stored image bytes to the model. The named image was identified; a generic image and an unavailable image prompted clarification. These local checks are separate from the verified live result below. The live-channel checklist is intentionally blank for your own account's results.
No Actions or automatic human handoff are enabled in the demo. Contact details stay in the conversation for manual team review.

LIVE PHOTO RESULT, 3 NOVEMBER 2026
At 18:15 Europe/Warsaw, the labelled Kenya photo reached the connected Instagram Agent and its model context. A catalogue lookup returned SOLD OUT and an unconfirmed restock date; the matching answer arrived in Instagram. The full reply is preserved in observed-results.json. The existing thread contained earlier Kenya questions, so this live result proves the attachment-and-delivery path rather than isolating identification from the image alone. The separate local named-image case used no previously named product.
