Searches your live catalog. Each recommendation is a product that exists in your store right now. 

The agent queries your store through Shopify’s storefront at the moment of the question, so prices and availability are not a stored copy that goes out of date. Catalog search, product lookup and product details are all available, and results appear in the chat as product cards with image, price and link. Store country and language are passed to the agent, so replies match the market the shopper is browsing.

No. Recommendations come from catalog search and product details on your own Shopify store, shown as product cards with image, price and link.

### Is it a stored copy of my catalog?

Product search runs live against your store through Shopify’s storefront. You can also import products into the knowledge base as articles, which is useful for descriptions and buying guides.

### Will it make up product details?
